We are massive fans of Disney Junior’s new Lion Guard toy range, it is the perfect accompaniment to the hit TV show that has captured my daughters heart. We were recently sent some of the items for our Twitter Party, which was a huge success!
This is the new Lion Guard Defend The Pride Lands Playset. RRP £34.99.
At first I thought this set was quite basic, but it’s definitely a lion in sheep clothing (see what I did there?!) there is so many features on this set, that it has been played with daily since it arrived! Firstly it comes with one figure of Kion, who is pose-able with his moving legs. There is a ledge which collapses and causes the victim to fall into the bone trap which is underneath, it closes around the victim. Then there is the waterfall which flips up and a hidden passage! Finally, the best bit, there is a vine lift which is motorised! This is used by pressing the button on top of the tree, and it retracts the string back up by itself, it’s lots and lots of fun and never tires!
You can also get a Lion Guard Collectable Figure set, this set has a RRP of £ 12.99 and includes five characters. The detail in these figures are great, they really add so much extra fun to the Playset, but I am sure a Lion Guard fan would adore these without too. They are robust, and have stood up in our Twitter Party and rough preschoolers.
There is also a Lion Guard Figure and accessory assortment available, we were sent two of these and both have been great fun! Kion with a toppling rock wall, and Fuli and her canyon chaser. These are both great fun, and again add so much fun to the range. The RRP of these are £9.99 each and I think that’s really reasonable.
