I am sure like most of you, I can remember the glass bottles of milk on the doorstep each morning. Sometimes my mum would be whining as the birds has pecked their way through the foil lid, sometimes because we would fight over who got the creamy top from the silver top bottle. It has been many years since milkmen delivered milk to my mums house, and I didn’t even realise that a milkman still existed! When I was approached to trial Milk&More I was curious, I do have four children and I do use a lot of milk, so I thought it could only be a good thing to have it delivered to my door.

What I wasn’t expecting was that alongside the vast range of milks, old fashioned glass bottles, new plastic packs like you get in the supermarket, there is also a massive range of other everyday essentials you can get delivered. Browsing through the website I picked out my bread, some fruit shoots for the children’s lunches, crisps and even cereal. Could it be that I may never need to visit the shops again in between weekly big food shops?!

For three weeks I have been using the service, and I adore it. You can order up until 9pm the night before delivery, meaning that as a single mum who is unable to leave the house once little people are in bed, the milk shortage or remembering that I have forgotten something vital for the kids breakfasts or lunches is easily solved. My order arrives before I wake up at 7am, and is sat there in my nominated place for delivery.

I LOVE having fresh juice waiting for me, and I LOVE not having to get all the kids together to pop to the local shop to get something we have ran out of, it is now delivered to my door. I have delivery to my house three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You can also choose to have your items delivered regularly instead of just a one off, so you will never forget.

I have been raving about the Milk&More service to my friends, and they have all asked how much it costs, in their opinion it must be expensive for the convenience….but it’s not. It is free delivery no matter how little you order, meaning just one pint of milk is delivered free. The everyday items are really competitive in price too, they have special offers on things and the ones not on offer are on par with my local co-op prices.  The convenience of having it all delivered it superb, paying is also convenient, you set up a direct debit and it simply invoices you each month and takes the money 14 day after.

As you can tell, I love the Milk&More service, and yes you may think I am an easily pleased person but trust me, I am not easy to please at all! I love it so much that I will continue to use the Milk&More service, oh and if you do sign up, I can totally recommend the broken biscuit box…just saying.
