Character Building have come up with some new and exciting for young football fans. A construction range of the worlds best players from the English Premier Leagues top teams. This includes Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea FC and Arsenal FC. Each figure has a 3d head, and is digitally sculptured to match their real life players. Available to buy in foil packets each character comes in 5 pieces for you to assemble yourself. But there is also some play sets available too, such as the Pitch and Play Set which we were sent to review.

My 10 year old son loves construction sets, so this was a pleasant change for him from the usual lorries, cars and robots he normally builds.
The great thing about this set is that the base forms a rigid surface for your football action, even on carpet.
Oh and yes that is a naked ken doll joining in the action.
As you can see you get 3 players included in the pack, but plenty of bases for more players. There is goal posts included, and of course the all important football!
You do need someone to play with ideally, J decided to let his two year old brother join in and they started recreating some of the scenes from the last match J had seen. This set would make an ideal Christmas present for a football fan, and will be sure to get the other older men playing too, after all they can now make sure their team wins, much less sulking that way!!
I personally would buy some extra players if I was buying this as a present for a child this Christmas, but it will be sure to go down as a hit!
