You all know my complete love for pushchairs, so when I was invited along to meet Joolz and have a sneak peek at some of the range Joolz has available, I was even happy to tackle morning rush hour with my toddler in tow just to have a play!
I had previously seen some photos of the brand new Joolz Day Earth Edition, but when I walked in and saw it in all its glory I was in complete awe. It looks better than any photo can show. The detail and quality is awesome, it oozes style from every stitch. Having a play with the actual pushchair was brilliant as I could try out all the bits that I find a niggle on other brands.
Firstly the thing that stood out to me was ease of use. It is really easy to remove the seat unit, to extend the handlebar height, and even collapse the pushchair. Secondly I was impressed that you get the whole package when you buy a Joolz. That means you get a carrycot, a chassis and a seat unit. The Earth Edition also includes a matching changing bag, shopping basket which matches the material of the seat, raincover and a cup holder, all for £779. Lastly I was impressed with the size of the seat unit. My son is 2 now and outgrew his premium priced pushchair before he was 1, and that cost more than a Joolz Day. Yes I have been kicking myself that I didn’t get a Joolz instead! At the event we put in my friends little girl who is 2 and a half, she fitted with plenty of room spare. This really is a package where you will only ever need one pushchair throughout the pushchair years.
There is loads more funky features to the Joolz Day than I can’t even fit into this blog, from it being freestanding when folded, through to the one handed opening safety bar. Joolz really have thought of every little detail to make life easier. I love the Joolz Day and am currently pestering hubby to buy me the gorgeous Expedition Range, which is a Limited Edition. Well either that or try and convince the lovely Joolz folk to let me have a play with one for a trial period.
