Chocolate Sprinkle Stix Review

Emma was so excited when the John Adams Sprinkle Stix Maker arrived, she adores creating new things in the kitchen and anything with sprinkles is always exciting for her.

Opening up the box, the contents are all really easy to put together. There is an instruction leaflet that tells you the exact size that your breadsticks should be, so it’s easy to break them to the perfect size to fit inside. There is no batteries included with the maker, so if you are buying as a gift you need 2 x AA batteries to slot in the bottom to create the ‘sprinkle magic. You also don’t get any food included, for obvious reasons, so make sure you pop some breadsticks, some sprinkles of your choice and some chocolate too. I find this a much better way than getting some included, as often I prefer to buy my own preference of chocolate.

Setting up the Sprinkle Stix Maker is something I have been doing before the kids get home from school, just break breadsticks to the right size and put them in the little blue holders. I then pop some chocolate buttons in the melter pod, and add a little warm water into the outside, this means it’s safe for kids. Then fill up the sprinkle holder with your desired sprinkles, your child can then use the desired spoon to add the sprinkles to the dome using the easy fill funnel. You are then ready to create!

Using the Sprinkle Stix Maker is so simple for the kids, you just take one of the breadsticks from the holder, dip it into the chocolate and then put it into the sprinkle dome.

Then just press the button and the sprinkles fly around the dome and attach to the chocolate on the breadstick, I wish I had caught Emma’s face when she first done it, it was pure amazement and joy!

I think Emma approves! @johnadams_toys @norton_pr

Cleaning away is simple, although somehow that job always gets left to me…The dome twists to unlock and inside you simply pull the enclosed parts out, this makes it so simple to pour the sprinkles out.

The melting unit I pop some in the washing up bowl and just make sure it’s dry after. Everything is easy to clean and no little fiddly parts is a bonus.

The Chocolate Sprinkle Stix is great fun, it’s a quick and easy way to create something the kids adore to have as a treat. I’m not going to lie, I thought this would be a fad and used once and forgot about, but everyday Emma asks to use it, it’s become a special Friday treat that she looks forward to.
