I recently wrote about the new partnership of LEGO and National Geographic Kids, which you can read about here. It includes an exciting competition, so do go take a look for a chance to enter to win a stay in a real life jungle!

Today I am pleased to show you one of the new LEGO City Jungle Explorers sets, the Mobile Lab!

My 7 year old was in complete awe at this model, with first spotting the crocodile you get included.

Once it was built, I was pleased to see many different features to enhance the whole play experience and get children engaged with the toy and exploring on their very own jungle adventure!

The mobile lab is the perfect home for the LEGO City Explorer Minifigures! With space inside the front cab for them to drive it around, and plenty room in the back to carry out their all important research work. You get 4 minifigures included and my eldest was pleased to see some new tools to the LEGO world, machetes!

The side of the Mobile Lab opens…with computers inside…

The Mobile Lab has freerolling wheels, and is so much fun!

But that’s not all, you get some amazing other pieces with this set. The buildable waterfall is brilliant!

You get a kayak included, complete with paddle and even room for the explorers camera to attach too!

The waterfall has some great features, there is room for the crocodile to sit, which is also moveable so you can push the crocodile through the waterfall to surprise whoever descends…

There is an awesome venus fly trap, which actually snaps and has a cute little spider inside…

This set has provided hours of fun for all four of my children, all in varying ages. LEGO really is a toy for all ages, and I love being the crocodile and creeping out when the kids minifigures walk past my waterfall…the kids love exploring in the jungle of our garden….

The attention to detail is just brilliant, the little cameras are an extra little touch which really make this set interactive and fun. The kayak is something new for us, we have never seen one before and although it doesn’t float in water (apparently…we haven’t tried…) it’s great for pretend play in the garden.
