We are huge fans of Brio. It’s a brand that I grew up with, I have fond memories of playing with the wooden track when I was small, it was always so much fun being able to create whatever I wanted. The thing as a parent is knowing that the products are built to last, and I adore that my four year old is still playing with the same wooden Brio toys that I purchased for my now 14 year old son.

But now there is something new and exciting that’s come to the world of Brio, it’s Brio World and it has some great additions to bring Brio to life.

We were sent the Brio World Family House and Village Modules.

brio family house

The Family House was really easy to assemble, the idea being that you can configure this so many ways, let your imagination run wild. There are instructions provided, to show you the basic set up, but it really is self explanatory and doesn’t need much explaining.

The parts are made up of floors, walls, windows, doors and so much more. You simply slot them together and they create ‘rooms’, which then join to each other in whatever way you fancy.

The parts are all interchangeable, meaning you can set up your house however you fancy, this means even putting some levels on top of other, there is literally no end to the configurations. You also get plenty of accessories included, including four people (that is plenty for a family), furniture including chairs, toilet, table, bed, benches and even a cooker and much more. There is 46 pieces in this set, and there is literally everything you need in one box, no need to buy additional items.

It has all the great quality feel that makes Brio what it is, and it has so much play potential. Bemma adores playing with her family house.

If you find that you like the Family  House, but feel like you need that little bit extra space or scope for even more fun, then the Village Modules is the set for you!
