#CrackingValue at Poundland this Christmas!

I absolutely love finding a bargain, and I never seem to be able to walk past a Poundland shop without popping in and seeing if it has something new. They seem to sell so many items, confectionery, books, DVDs, crafts and even household stuff, so it’s the perfect place to grab a bargain or two without worrying about the price as everything is £1. It has also become the go-to place for seasonal goods, with Halloween and Easter goods being great value and perfect for the kids, we always get excited to see the Christmas bits coming in. So when Poundland asked if I would like some vouchers to see if I could find some great presents and do a little bit of wrapping up with their products, I knew this was right up my street.

I always find it great to find so many bargain items in Poundland, items you wouldn’t expect to buy for £1, but there is so much choice that it’s a great place to pick up some Christmas gifts and not forgetting, wrapping essentials too.

Wrapping up is something I have always enjoyed, I love creating something nice for someone to open. Instore I found loads of beautiful wrapping paper, all in different colours and themes, but this Tartan design instantly caught my eye. The festive ribbon is the perfect addition to add for that extra special touch too. You get 2.7 metres of ribbon, and 3 metres of wrapping paper, so it will do quite a few presents for just £2.

There are loads of different colours of ribbon available, as well as these gorgeous glass baubles and these 8m bead garlands which could not only be a beautiful decoration but could be used for wrapping decoration too.

With a pre-teen in the house, I find it difficult in general to find her something that suits. She is a bit old for kid toys, but not quite old enough for adult stuff, but I found all of these items instore. The tissue paper comes in a pack of four glittery sheets too, so plenty to go around a few gifts.

For the preschooler I found these great In The Night Garden gifts, and some gorgeous Christmas themed books. I know she will love them! I added this Giant Snowie button in too, as it looks amazing, has the wow factor and it’s her favourite bag of sweets.

What I absolutely love for wrapping the small ones gifts up, are these cute sacks at just £1 each they are perfect for popping kids gifts in, even my nieces too as it adds a real magical touch. This cute wooden ‘Santa please stop here’ sign is one of my favourites too, I just had to buy it when I saw it.

For the 14 year old, I decided to jazz up a Star Wars Gift Bag from the Celebration section rather than from the Christmas section, with the Star Wars Tinsel in the Christmas section and added a Star Wars Christmas Tree decoration, which is great as it means he can keep that and reuse it.

I love that the gift bag has Stormtrooper on one side and Darth Vader on the other.

  1. Great choices, I shall be heading back in next week when I hopefully won’t have a poorly boy with me to pick up some of the Star Wars bags and a few rolls of wrapping paper 🙂

  2. I didn’t spot the Stars Wars bags so I’ll definitely pop back to try and get those! You can’t beat going in there for stocking fillers. I’ve been cheap skating with wrapping paper for a few years now and they always look just as nice. Love the tartan 🙂 x
