Chad Valley Play Patrol and £75 Gift Card GIVEAWAY!

Oct 25, 2016 403 Comments by

We are super excited to announce we have joined the Chad Valley team on their Play Patrol. Chad Valley is a brand that I was bought up with, their products were a regular sight on Christmas Day morning. When I had my own children it was a natural choice to buy Chad Valley products. I spent many hours as a child flicking through the Argos catalogue, picking out my favourite toys, and this is something my children still love doing today. So when I was asked if I would be interested in joining the Chad Valley Play Patrol, I jumped at the chance and felt incredibly honoured they would want us!

It was so exciting having our first ever parcel turn up for review!

designafriends-boxes-review

Having seen the adverts on TV, my girls squealed at the sight of these DesignaFriend sets. They come in amazingly beautiful boxes, they really would make the perfect gift for any special occasion. Opening our first box we found…

DesignaFriend Doll Tiffany.

designafriend-tiffany-doll-review

Tiffany comes in the most beautiful gift box which doubles up as not only a strong storage box to use again and again, but a catwalk on one side and a changing room on the other. She is a really good size, sitting at 18 inches, and she comes with a bundle of accessories too. There is two pairs of earrings, two pairs of shoes, one ball gown, gloves and clutch bag, but she also has jeans and a top for a casual look too. She is a fabulous quality doll, with beautiful long wavy hair.

designafriend5

My girls have adored playing with Tiffany, and they have created many fashion shows for Tiffany, with all their other favourite toys surrounding the catwalk to watch. The RRP of Tiffany is £49.99, but included is everything you would need to play.

We were also sent DesignaFriend Sophia.

designafriend-sophia-boxed

Sophia comes in her own gift box too, although it is just a storage box rather than a play element too like Tiffany. But inside the beautiful grey and pink box are so many different accessories which really add a new element of play with the DesignaFriends dolls. She has her very own stylists trolley, which opens just like the real thing. Included is also a hairbrush, hairdryer (which really makes noise!), hair straighteners, clips, hair rollers and even a stylists apron for Sophia to store all her tools while working on the hair. The accessories all fit inside the trolley when not in use, and it even has a clip to shut it all in, with wheels underneath and an extendable handle to pull it along , just like a real trolley!

Sophia comes dressed in a beautiful glittery top, with sparkly leggings and pink sparkly shoes that I am a little bit envious of. I love that the dolls come in nice clothes, perfect for young girls, nothing over the top or garish.

Sophia is available at Argos only, with an RRP of £39.99.

We are also super excited to share an amazing giveaway too!

Here is your chance to win a £75 gift voucher to spend at Argos. Simply follow the instructions in the Gleam widget and keep everything crossed, I just know how fabulous this voucher would be for someone to win in time for Christmas. Please read the terms and conditions for more details. Competiton starts 25/10/2016 16:45 PM. Ends 24/11/2016 11:59:59 PM
