The Easter holidays are coming, and although I am not in the slightest bit religious, I love celebrating Easter. I know it’s probably because of the increase in the amountĀ of chocolate that is deemed to be acceptable all day every day. But this year I am using it as an excuse to take the kids away.

If you don’t know me already, I originally come from the Essex, with family close by just over in the Suffolk border. I moved to Oxfordshire about 4 years ago, and although it is very lovely here in the Cotswolds, I just adore travelling back to Suffolk. It can be a big trek to do in a day though, and many hotels only accommodate a few children, so I decided to book a 3 bedroom caravan at a holiday park on the Suffolk coast. I won’t lie, I have low expectations, a few peeks at Trip Advisor tells me that I should prepare for the worst…but we have a busy weekend planned, so hopefully we won’t need to be inside the caravan for anything other than sleeping. I have a bag packed already with kitchen roll, antibacterial wipes and bleach!!! Who knows, I may be pleasantly surprised?!

Meanwhile back in Oxfordshire we will be leaving the elderly inlaws behind, I am sure they are looking forward to the peace, especially if their new Panasonic call blocking phones does its job, does anyone else get pestered with nuisance calls all day every day from ‘PPI refund’ companies?! It’s driving us crazy having to get up and answer the calls, so this seemed the best way to help the inlaws enjoying their retirement instead of getting up and down to answer the phone fifty times a day!

I can’t wait to get to the beach, just pray that there isn’t much rain!
