So I have officially lost 19lb, which is awesome, but after much soul searching, I have decided it’s time to start a new chapter, a chapter of healthy eating and exercise. Yet again, I find myself having to explain myself to people, but people seem to get it. I think they are used to me changing my mind as quick as the British weather changes.

I miss carbs…big time. At the weekend I went a little crazy on a day off, and as a result I was violently ill, because my body wasn’t used to the carbs it hasn’t had. I felt awful, and it made me realise that life is maybe too short to stick to just 3 shakes a day. The official CWP people say you should move up the steps, so adding in protein and veg, which makes sense…as you have effectively no metabolism. But I don’t want to only eat a small portion of veg and protein for weeks on end, I want to eat the occasional potato, the odd cracker and a slice of toast some mornings. I truly think I have broken the bad habits, I have for the past few days been winging it my way, and watching what I eat, and even having the occasional cambridge shake or bar when I needed something. But I have eaten small portions of healthy food with the kids, and I have a brand new bike in the pipeline….and I feel OK. I don’t have my snacking urges anymore, and although I know it will easy to slip back into old habits, it’s something I am determined not to do.

I know CWP is awesome, I know it gives good numbers, but I just want more at the moment….so here I go, healthy eating, carrying on my 3 litres of water a day and exercising….what’s the worst that could happen?
