Are you considering taking your little people to In the Night Garden Live? Or maybe you have booked tickets already, but you want to hear more about what to expect. Well this is the post for you!

Firstly, In the Night Garden is not only enjoyable for children who are fans of the show, but the actual puppetry is amazing and as an adult I was really impressed with the performance. I expected to be sat there falling asleep, but honestly it was great.

On top of that it is child friendly, as a visitor to theatre shows for other children’s TV character live shows, In the night garden was the most family friendly. Which makes sense really as this is what it is all about. Firstly, the show is not set within a stuffy theatre with those horrid seats that flip up when you stand, no more squashed children in the folding seats! Instead they have inflatable show domes which have just 13 rows of seats.

There is no actual seating, the steps are where you sit. It means children can all get a fantastic view without getting annoyed that someone in front is in their way. Iit also means children can move around easily, as we all know that little people do not stay still for long.

Maybe you are worried about potty training toddlers, well toilets are nearby so don’t panic. Also there is a buggy park available, so you don’t have to worry about trying to keep hold of a child in a queue. I found the queuing to be OK, it wasn’t for long and the staff really appreciated and respected the fact that the audience are small people.

Do you want to make your In The Night GardenLive experience even better? Or maybe you are travelling from afar? Well why not look at hotels nearby, there is Holiday Inn London Kensington Forum which is only 19 minutes drive away from Richmond Old Deer Park. There is also Holiday Inn London Regents Park which is  33 minutes by car, but it also has the benefit of being near London Zoo too, so you can make your special trip last even longer with a trip there too.

Most importantly of all, enjoy every second and watch the smile on your child’s face, it’s a magical experience they will be talking about for a long time.
