Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Battle Shell Figures Review

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a personal favourite of mine when I was growing up, and I love that the new Nickoldeon series has made my very only 4 year old a Turtles fan too!

We were sent two of the 5 inch tall Battle Shell figures to review, and Mark was delighted to test them out. He received Battle Shell Donatello and also Shredder.  Each figure is suitable for little wannabe ninjas who are 4+.

The Battle Shell Donatello was first to be opened, and he is sure to please any Turtles fan. Not only is he a posable figure, who is perfect for playing games with, but he has a rather impressive shell on his back which hides something special…Hidden inside his shell is his very own ninja weapons.  There is a three-section staff, and 2 shuriken, which Mark loved playing with. The great thing is that once you have played with them, they store away so you don’t lose the pieces. Marky did find it a little hard to put them back in by himself, but I’m sure an older child wouldn’t have any problem.

Shredder, the deadly leader of the evil foot clan also went down a storm, as you cannot have a good guy without a baddie! Shredder comes complete with a removable helmet which Mark had no problem putting on by himself. He is a good solid figure, and despite some hard rough play, he is still as good as new.

If you have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan, these robust figures would be perfect. They can create their own games with them, and have hours of imaginative fun.

You can find the figures online  here.
