My boys had their tongue ties snipped at 18 months and 11 months, just with local numbing spray. It’s incredible how quick it is and what a difference it makes straight away. I did blog about it then but it’s been 5 years since the last tongue tie op & my parenting blog is now offline 🙁

Oh crikey, I was never given the option of a local! It was definitely the general that made her so unsettled.

Oh dear, poor little thing. It’s so horrible when they are poorly.

My son is the same way and I have debating on getting it clipped. I had never heard of a child being tongue tied but come to find out his daddy was also. I’ve heard it is hereditary. I had no idea he was tongue tied up until about 4 months ago. He ate fine and gained weight with no problem. He is now 19 months old. But when he sticks his tongue out it looks exactly like your daughters in that picture, and now that he’s starting to talk it’s hard to understand him. I guess i’ll have to make him an appointment to get it clipped. Thanks for posting your experience 🙂
