The Cosatto Troop has the wow factor, available in a range of patterntastic colours, it was no surprise that I decided Emma Ladybird NEEDED the Ladybug Troop as her next stage car seat.
The Troop is a stage 123 seat, meaning it can be used from 9 – 36kg (approx. 9 months – 12 years). It doesn’t have a 5 point harness, instead as stage 1 seat it has a Protective Impact Shield. So for those little poppets who hate having their shoulders strapped in, this could well be the lifesaver you need!
The great thing is that the seat can be used right up to 36kg, my daughter is 9 and with the use of the adjustable headrest (5 positions) she fitted with ease.
I have used the Troop with my 3 year old and 9 year old with no impact shield, and with my 10 month old with an impact shield. The shield is easy to remove once you have unstrapped it, so having this in the car is brilliant as all of my children can use it with little effort to convert it. When you work out the price of the seat, and the number of years use, it is a bargain!
The seat has many features, side impact protection, two recline positions, the 5 headrest positions, washable covers and, as if that wasn’t enough to wow you, it has ISOFIX too. But, I love that you don’t have to use the ISOFIX, you can use it without.
It is really easy to strap into the car, with the impact shield you simply slot the seatbelt across it, and then double it back across. The instructions that came with it are really clear too. To adjust the height and recline is very easy to.
I have found the Cosatto Troop Ladybug seat to be robust, good quality, comfortable and easy to use. It fits perfectly into our family life, and I genuinely cannot find anything bad to say about it, top marks Cosatto!
