As proud Crayola Ambassadors, we get the fabulous job of reviewing the new products from them. Last week the Crayola Marker Airbrush turned up for review, just when I thought Crayola products couldn’t get anything else in their extensive range they always seem to pull something new out of the (crayon shaped I presume) bag.

Inside the box was the following contents:

So the first thing that stood out to me was that it requires no batteries, awesome. Everything you need to work this is included inside the box, great to know if you are buying one as a present for a creative kid. It really is simple to set up, everything is done for you.

To start using you just need to pick which colour marker you want to use, remove the lid and put the pen inside the nozzle. It is an adjustable nozzle and this means you can use other pens in it too. As you get the paper included, all you need to do is pick what stencils to use. You get 4 stencil sheets, which all have lots of shapes included, you simply pop out the pieces, but don’t chuck the popped out pieces as they come in handy for using too.

To use you simply need to pump the unit, about 15-20 times. You then point the nozzle at the paper and press the trigger. The nozzle is light to hold, which means it’s easy to use and point where you want to. Changing the pens are also very easy to do, so you can use lots of colours on your designs very easily.

The fun doesn’t stop there, you can use it for fabric too, although we haven’t tried this yet.

Jordan loved using the Crayola Marker Airbrush, it has so much creative uses, and being able to do something ‘graffiti’ is very cool to an 11 year old boy! It has creative scope and is definitely one that older children would love to use. It has an age range of 6+ on it, but my husband loved it and spent ages spraying designs. Top marks to Crayola!
