Tidy Books is a brand which I came to learn about last year when I reviewed the bookcase. When they approached me to do another review, I just knew that it had to be The Tidy Books Box. Not only does it match with the bookcase perfectly, but it provides even more space for Marks ever growing book collection.

The Kids Book Box arrived in a small box, so small I wondered if it was going to be a lot smaller than I thought when assembled. I won’t lie, I put off opening the box as I hoped my husband would do it, but busy working days meant it was left there for a whole week. I couldn’t take it any longer and decided to open it and tackle it myself, I got my pink tool kit ready, put the baby to sleep and psyched myself up to some serious assembly.

Imagine my delight when I unpacked this..and found out that I didn’t even needs any tools. All screws come included, and even have a handy key included with it.

Made from solid wood which is not only sturdy and solid, but the wood is also sustainable too. It is all the same thickness for all the parts, so no saggy bottom. It is easy to put together, with pre drilled holes in the perfect places, it requires no effort at all to assemble.

The assembled box is simply stunning, I love that it is beautiful enough to sit in my living room, yet fun enough to appeal to Marky. He loves putting his books away in it, and we have found that this is especially handy for storing his hoards of magazine too.

The cherry on the cake happens to be clock shaped, yes the amazing clock comes included and the detail is amazing. It is the same great quality as the rest of the bookcase. It can help children to learn to tell Β the time, but it also adds a fun element to the Book Box. The clock can be removed when your child grows out of it, and it then becomes a more grown up box, I would even use it as a book box in my bedroom. It can hold 40 books, but I bet it holds even more magazines than that.

I am in no doubt that this Book Box will last for many many many years, it will probably be living with me after the kids have left home, it is that that good quality. It does come with a whooping five year guarantee though if you do have any problems. The price of this? Β£69. That is an utter bargain for a piece of furniture that is of such high quality with so many uses for so many years.
