The Baby Bud is a three stage seat which is suitable for children from 6 months to 3 years.
Opening up our Baby Bud box, I was pleased that the seat is in one piece and only requires assembly of the adjustable feet. By adjustable, I mean height adjustable. You simply slot the feet in each corner. You can then press the button on the inside to make them extend to the height you need. Brilliant for growing with your child and also for using at different height tables. I love that the height adjusters are so easy to change, it really is a click of a button on each one so can be done in seconds.
Included with the Baby Bud is a three point harness which is fully adjustable, meaning you can get the exact fit to keep your child safe. There is another strap is for attaching around the base of the chair it is sitting on, again this is adjustable so it can be adjusted to get a safe fit. There is also one for the rear of the chair, meaning it can be completely secure. While on the talk of how adjustable it is, the tray which attaches to the front is also adjustable with three settings. This means you can get a close fit for a younger child, and extend it as they grow. There is a locking mechanism too, which I love as it has visual aids to show you when it is locked and unlocked. You also have the option to remove the tray completely, so your child can join you at the table.
Inside the seat is a removable insert. This is great for cleaning, as it means that you can remove it to get it really clean. It also means that if your child is slightly wider you can remove the insert and still use the seat. I like the material of the insert, it has a squidgy feel that I wouldn’t mind in my size! We have found however, that despite my 3 year old son using it, he still fits inside with the insert.
I love that the Baby Bud is so lightweight, with a carry handle included this can be used at home or even away from home. We went to Butlins last week, and it was fantastic to use in all the different restaurants.
The Baby Bud has proved a great boosterseat, for the RRP of £45.00 it is a product that is potentially going to be used for three years, a great investment. It is easy to adjust, light to carry and sturdy for a baby or toddler.
