It was only a few months ago that I was sat with my big pregnant belly wondering and worrying what labour would be like. But the worry didn’t stop there, then there was worrying about having a newborn baby in the house. I have had babies before, but this didn’t make me any less nervous. If I was a first time mum I think I would just been a big pile of worry and nothing else. When I heard Aptaclub has set up a new ‘Preparing for birth’ app for the iPhone, I honestly thought it was a great idea for both first time, and experienced mums.
Included in the app is a plenty of things including 6 editable checklists to help stay organised, all of which can be shared (e.g. what to include within your hospital bag, shopping lists), Tips and practical advice to prepare for labour and birth, An easy-to-use contraction timer and A personalised birth announcer with a range of templates. The price for this handy? Nothing. It is completely free to download from the iTunes App Store and supports mums-to-be in their third trimester of pregnancy, to prepare for labour and her baby’s arrival.
This app sounds brilliant, all of the features would of come in handy, especially the checklists as I spent ages trying to work out what I needed and didn’t need!
