*edit* since this post we have found issues with the Cosatto Giggle Go-lightly Infant Carrier, please see end of post for update*
This is a review of the Giggle Group 0+ Infant Carrier. This Car Seat that you can buy on its own or as part of the Giggle Combi 3 in 1 system. You can read more about the Cosatto Giggle by visiting our main post found here.
The Group 0+ Infant Carrier comes in six different funky designs that match the Giggle Pushchair designs entirely.
We were sent the matching gorgeous Golightly Car Seat which matches our Giggle golightly perfectly. It is suitable from birth right up until your child is 29lb/13kg. It comes delivered in its own box, and requires no assembly. It features side impact protection and has a 4 year guarantee like all Cosatto products.
It has an adjustable hood, padded insert, straps covers and a buckle harness cover too. Again, it matches the rest of the go-lightly range perfectly. The infant carrier comes complete in the box, there is no assembly needed apart from adjusting the straps to get the right fit for your child. This is easy to do, simply pop your finger inside the slot at the bottom of the fabric and press in the adjuster, while doing this pull gently on the straps and they extend. You can then use the long strap at the bottom to tighten it up to the right length.
We used our infant carrier to bring baby Emma home from hospital, and she was safe and snug despite it being -5 and 2am when we left!
The car seat also clips on the pushchair chassis with the aid of two adapters which come included in the box.
I use this mode for the nursery runs. It means that I don’t have to remove Emma from her car seat, and can simply pop it straight on the chassis. It provides a smooth ride for her, the car seat feels solid and there is no wobble even over rough ground. The adapters can be removed simply by pressing a button on each one, however you can fold the chassis with the adapters in place. All covers on the car seat are removable, as is the hood. Makes it handy for cleaning, although we haven’t had to remove ours yet.
Having a Giggle in the snow…
Here is both Emma and her cousin Sophie in the Golightly car seat, wearing the same outfit and are both 18 days old.

Since this review, we found faults with our original carrier, it was sent back to Cosatto and replaced. The replacement also has had the same thing happen, which says to me that it is an ongoing problem with quality rather than an isolated faulty carrier.
