Tidy Book Bookcase Review and Competition

Oct 06, 2012 20 Comments by

I have been admiring Tidy Books products for some time now, and moving house was the perfect excuse to get the books arranged. My children all love books, I like to think it’s something I have influenced. I loved books as a child and I still do when I get the chance to read. I was taught at a very early age to look after books and treat them with respect and this is something I have worked hard to bring my children up the same. So what better way to organise your books than with a gorgeous Tidy Books Bookcase?

Not only is bright and funky to help encourage the kids to tidy their books, but it’s fantastic quality too.

Our Tidy Books Bookcase arrived in a teeny box, I could hardly believe that was it! But what a great way to keep the carbon footprint down than keeping the package as small as possible for delivery. The actual Bookcase is made from sustainable wood and finished with eco friendly water based lacquer to give a natural finish which is safe for babies and children. Included inside the box was clear instructions and all we needed was one screwdriver to assemble it…Marky loves helping daddy build things…

Here is our completed Bookcase! Marky had already picked out his favourite books ready to put in their new home.

The detail of the Bookcase is brilliant, the multicoloured letters have been a great aid to Marky recognising his letters and sounding them out. The Bookcase holds 85 books, and the different shelves mean that all different sized books all have somewhere perfect to sit.

It looks stunning in the playroom, and it has encouraged the children to read even more than they did before, having the books all spread out on the shelves means they can see books which would normally be buried under a pile in a box. So not only is our playroom tidier, but it has encouraged even more reading!  There is also holes on the back of the Bookcase so you can be sure they even excited little ones won’t pull it over on themselves.

So to sum it up, it’s eco friendly, safe for little ones, sturdy, and gorgeous to look at. I am totally in love with the Tidy Books Bookcase!
