If your little one is a fan of Nick Jr then I am sure you are already aware of Dinosaur Train, the utterly cute dinosaurs who go on adventures on the Dinosaur Train.

Forget the Jurassic era; don’t even think about the Cretaceous era – it’s time for Buddy and his friends to take you on a journey to the ‘Spooky era’ in an exciting Dinosaur Train adventure!

All Aboard! As StudioCanal releases Jim Henson’s™  Dinosaur Train – Spooky Adventures, the perfect Halloween treat for pre-schoolers featuring seven themed episodes, a fun colouring sheet and never seen on TV educational segments with resident Palaeontologist Dr. Scott.

From the producers of The Muppet Show, Dinosaur Train embraces and celebrates the fascination pre-schoolers have with both dinosaurs and trains while sparking an interest in life science, natural history and palaeontology.

Dinosaur Train is one of Nick Jr’s most popular shows and stars Buddy the world’s cutest T-Rex, who, with his friends, jump on the Dinosaur Train and circle the world to meet, explore and have adventures with all kinds of dinosaurs.

Buddy is especially curious about the differences between species and vows to learn what makes each dinosaur special by riding the Dinosaur Train.

Dinosaur Train – Spooky Adventures is made up of 7 x 14 min spooky episodes, each with an educational objective.

Spooky Adventures has 7 epidosdes included on it, including the special Night Train episode. Being a mum to a 2 year old who is scared of the dark I was concerned it would scare him, but I can honestly say it has not scared him once. He loves the new DVD and I have been subjected to it far too many times!! I love the educational spin the program has put on the cute dinosaurs, my 2 year old knows what nocturnal means, I love that. It has been a hit with my son, and I am sure even dinosaur fans who haven’t watched Dinosaur Train before would enjoy it and even learn something from it without even knowing it.

Included in the DVD pack is a colouring sheet and unseen footage. RRP is £9.99 and it can be purchased from all good retailers including Play.com from 1st October 2012.
