Pregnancy Diary: Boy or Girl? The Cake Reveals All…

Aug 25, 2012 18 Comments by

I have been wondering how to announce the sex of the baby and have been amazed by the new craze of gender revealing party’s in the states. Now I am not one to throw myself a party, I find them a bit self-indulgent for me but I wanted to do something a little fun for the blog…

So I made my own cake to reveal the sex of my bump….

Now watch the video to find out…

whats wrong with the old fashion method of waiting till its born and seeing if dressed in pink or blue????? More daft American ideas we dont need in this country.

I think it is a lovely thing to do & I don’t care what country it originated from. If a parent wants to find out the sex of their child then why not! personally I find it helps you bond much sooner. In the old days they never had pregnancy tests and would wait until the belly got big to find out they was expected & scan was not heard of but I bet people use those pregnancy tests and go for those important scans…times change!
