Never mind messy pets, I have 3 children and a husband who loves to make a mess. Our beige living room carpet was a silly choice, but as it came fitted throughout free of charge courtesy of the builders (new build) I wasn’t going to complain. However the years of children have taken their toll on the carpet and truth be told I have tried many carpet cleaners that claim on the tv to work like magic…however they seem to for me!!

When Rug Doctor sent me a bottle of their new Spot & Stain Remover I knew I could test it to the max.

On cue Marky dropped chocolate mousse on my carpet, and despite mopping up what I could, it left a stain.

So following the 5 instructions on the bottle I removed any solids or excess liquids and sprayed the Spot & Stain Remover generously over the stained patch.

You then ‘Lightly agitate stained area working from the edges towards centre’. Then simply blot with a paper towel pressing deep into the stain. Then rinse with water and blot to dry.

The stain immediately lifted and I was shocked to see it actually disappear in front of my eyes.

The colour difference you can see is where the carpet is wet, but now it is dry you can’t even notice where it was!

You can use the Rug Doctor Spot & Stain Remover on carpet or upholstery to remove stains from food, drinks, crayon, chocolate, oil, grease, mud and much more!
