We love Hot Wheels in our house, it has been a hit for many years. In fact we still have the Hot Wheels Wall Track Set we were sent last year to review, up on our wall! It has stood the test of time and 3 children! So when Mattel asked if I would like to test the latest release I was keen to see what they could improve on an already fantastic product.
When I got the box I was chuffed to see there is now a colour poster included, which would brighten up our dull magnolia walls a treat! There is also now a motorised launch.
Opening up the box the contents were daunting to look at.
But the instructions were straight forward. Now there does look a lot of instructions but that’s because it is translated into different languages.
To assemble the set, you simply attach the poster to the wall.
Then you add the lettered brackets with command strips.
You then assemble the track onto the brackets.
It is then ready! This takes D size batteries which are not included, but they are easy to to insert with the aid of a trust screwdriver.
All you need then is a Hot Wheels Car to put in! I was shocked at first shot of how fast the car flies out of the motorised launcher, it really does go with some force! But it means it has enough momentum to go round the whole track again and again!

We love the new Wall Tracks set, it is a great improvement on the already brilliant manual Wall Tracks set you can buy, but this adds a new fun element!
