Baby Jake: Bumpety Bump Tractor

You can not escape the catchy theme tune of Baby Jake…

‘Time for an adventure – googy gee-ahh, magic fun with baby jake, googy-gee-ahh!’ Children absolutley love Baby Jake and my Mark is no exception. I think it must be the way it is a cartoon but with a real baby face that captures him and his imagination.

We were recently sent a Baby Jake Bumpety Bump Tractor to review from Vivid Imaginations, and it was instantly a hit with Mark.

Despite it being a model of Baby Jake where as the program is an actual baby, he still knew it was Baby Jake. Whoever was responsible for creating the figure has done a brilliant job!

Opening up the box, the Bumpty Bump Tractor was held in with paper tie, not those horrendous plastic and metal ones! These were super easy to remove, which meant less whining from Mark who was keen to play.  It’s also probably good to mention that because these are paper that they are widely recycled.

You have to put the stickers on yourself, but there is instructions on the bottom of the box which shows you where each one goes.

Within no time at allour Bumpety Bump Tractor was ready

So what does it do? Well you push along as Baby Jake and Toot Toot’s funnel bump up and down. It also plays fun sounds and phrases from the show as well as playing the Baby Jake adventure song.

Mark loves his Baby Jake Bumpety Bump Tractor, he has even taken it on the school run with him.

As you can see he will not let go of it for anything! It is a great toy for imaginative play, we can now act out scenes from the episodes we watch. If your child is a Baby Jake fan then they will love this. The RRP is £19.99, which considering the quality of the toy I think is really reasonable.

Here is a short video demonstration.

There is other products available from the Baby Jake range, including a Musical TV, Giant Floor Puzzle, Dolls and lots more. Check out for more information.
