Poor Marky is still suffering, and currently has conjunctivitis in not one, but both of his eyes. Of course my main concern has been making sure the kids are ok. Me and hubby have been feeling drained from our own illness, and most of last week we were tucked up in bed asleep at 9pm! As a result, the house was looking a complete state. I had done the essential stuff, like making sure everyone had clean clothes and bedding, but I won’t lie, the house suffered while we were battling our germs.
So yesterday, feeling better, we decided to blitz the house and get it back to how I like it.  Hubby cut the grass, and cleaned the cooker hob and worktops, I done piles of washing, cleaned Marks car seat covers, cleaned the rest of the kitchen and had a damn good tidy up!
The result? A nice clean kitchen that makes me smile and a bedroom where I can get in and out of bed without falling over stuff! It feels lovely having a house not full of clutter and I sat down last night feeling happy and content.

But I cant help but wonder if we done a bit too much, a bit too soon. I woke up with a hacking sore throat again, and feeling just as bad as I did last week. Here is hoping its a minor blip and that this week will be a good week!!
